HIJOS DE LOS VIENTOS DEL SUR

RESILIENCIA Y FUERZA PARA GANAR

The time of Cabo de Hornos, the frigid rivers of Chiloé, the oil and the forests come from the central coast and the calm of the Mar del Norte, its the school that has forjado the temple of the chilenos; navigable strengths and resilience. From the end of the world, I learn to compete and compete against the great sailing nations, and register my number in extra waters. Earthbikes, tsunamis, floods and sequías. The geographical inclemency of Chile and the Pacific Ocean are unique, just like the personality of its inhabitants; With easy adaptability and resilience, we always know how to improve our situation. The Chilean team is made up of diverse personalities that, when complemented, transform it into an unbeatable team. With years of experience, enthusiastic young people, international camps, individual and team navigation, triunfos and disasters, the Chilean team is better prepared to shine in the water.

After our first rinsing of the world, we form part of the global condition. This code represents the virtual borders that we distinguish from other countries and, at the same time, we allow you to connect with them.

EL CAPITÁN

PABLO LORCA

As a naval aviator, he was brave, arrived and decided. Our captain started his relationship with the sea in the army, learned discipline and logistics. In addition to being a big project, it has been reported that we have a variety of exciting projects: female and mixed trips, as well as match race camps and corporate regatas. His increased participation in international camps, together with his enormous social skills, is ideal for the puesto.

LOS LÍDERES

RODRIGO “Rae” AMUNATEGUI

Methodical and meticulous, our main job is to load the door to the point of the barco. His “zen” personality contributes to maintaining the calm of the team within and the water supply. From a family of sailors, I started early on IMS boats as a major trimmer on a 40-foot boat and as a boat on Lightning, J-24 and ocean boats. Currently, the tactics of the J-70 and the main trimmer of the S-40 are missing.

FELIPE ECHENIQUE

National leader. Back to the Copa Mundial de Optimist and back to the Campeonatos Sudamericanos de Láser y Snipe; Your experience aboard habla por síla. Tranquil and pleasant on the ground, active and concentrated in the water. Plan, visualize and verbalize the actions with eloquence, anticipate every movement. Timonel is there in the great Brazilian leagues.

FELIPE “Flecha” ROBLES

Dynamic and worried, our partner started to navigate on light boats, with excellent results. Coming into the J-24 class as a team and tactics with different detached teams, we won medals in the Pan-American Odess and a detached participation in world championships. Pose a great technical dynamism and full confidence in the capabilities of your team.

EL FACTOR JUVENTUD

The young Chilean sailors are characterized by their endurance, perseverance and room to live. Clemente Seguel won – among other preseas – a silver medal in the Laser U21 Worlds 2019. Alfredo Urzú demonstrated great ability in team sailing, sailing in J70 and S40 and obtaining excellent results in 29er. We are part of the great leagues and the impetus of our alma mater have the attributes that we have in our team.
